When Real Maine Weddings asked me to submit a wedding for their feature "Summer" wedding, I knew exactly the wedding to highlight. This August wedding began with a ceremony at St. Ann's in Kennebunkport, followed by a cocktail hour at the family's summer home in their beautiful gardens. Guests were seated in a stunning Sperry tent that was 14feet off the ground, giving sweeping ocean views during the sunset.
For dinner, The White Apron served a Maine-style
Cioppino that included Diver Scallops, Shrimp and Lobster Tail tossed with House-Made
Cavatelli, Smoked Tomato and Olive Chutney, Red Pepper Rouille and Arugula. Not your typical wedding dinner.
After the Sultans of Swing had guests dancing into the night, an after party at the River Club Casino was had, complete with comfort late night foods.
